Because we don’t sell coffee we are contracted by some of the major roasters and coffee companies to service their equipment, and with no coffee deals tying you in to service, we can give you honest impartial advice on your coffee making equipment.

After Sales Service/Warranty
If you purchase a traditional espresso machine from us, the warranty which includes delivery, installation, training and the 1st year full parts and labour cover, is free of charge in most places across Scotland. We shall endeavour to repair your machine on site within 24 hours Monday to Friday (weekend cover also available). This is also the case for those customers in England and Wales through our service partner Espresso Service. It is worth pointing out that unlike some other companies, we do not insist you buy a water filter in Scotland as most places are on a soft water supply. There are pockets throughout Scotland where a filter or softener is beneficial and in those cases we will advise you accordingly. Please also note this very important point. Unlike some of the large box shifters, our warranty is an on-site warranty. We do not operate a return to base warranty. In short, we come to you in the event of a breakdown. It's not up to you to rerturn the machine or grinder to us for repairs.
CES engineers are fully trained to carry out boiler inspections. This is a legal requirement by the owner of the machine to have its boiler tested by a qualified engineer surveyor every 12 months. Our standard espresso machine maintenance contract includes:
• Front end service once per annum
• All call outs including labour time on site
• All technical assistance
• Telephone line through to qualified technician
• 24 hour answer service
• 24 hour response on breakdowns
Our engineers are also barista trained and can answer many questions on preparing the perfect drink.
One off service requirements for customers in Scotland
The Caledonian Espresso Service team are able to provide help and advice or visit your premises (as necessary) to keep your espresso machine or grinder in full working order.
